Troy : DC is over 3 hours long and has a Dobly True HD track. 51 GB disc will work on all players. Even heard of the Twin format disc? It has a 3rd layer that contains DVD movies and it can be played in both DVD an HD players. If a red laser can read the 3rd layer thru 2 layers of pits 51 GB should be no problem.
HD DVD was launched in April 06, Blu Ray 7 weeks later. Blu Ray took the lead in January of 07 and PS#3 was launched 11/11/06. Stop posting bullsh!t you are only lying to yourself. Or is that what Sony wants you to believe?
movies don't count. But in this case Open Season did. if free movies are counted then Blu Ray and HD would have more that 3 million and 2 million sold respectively. Look up the definition of sell.

V for Vendetta, Batman Begins, Matrix all have IME and are not on Blu Ray to this day. While 300 for HD DVD has IME, BR doesn't but they released it anyways because that's a movie suited for gamers. Why not release all the movies?
